Opera “Esther”『以斯帖』歌剧

The four-act opera “Esther”, presented by Church Music Ministry and co-organized by Mandarin Congregation, will be performed in Mandarin in the Sanctuary on 14 October (Saturday) at 7:00 pm. The story is based on the book of “Esther” in the Bible. It centers on a Jewish woman named Esther. With her bravery, wisdom and faith in God, she saved her people from the slaughter of the enemy. The main characters are soprano Ms Leona Quek and tenor Reverend Timothy Huang. The music is composed by Yan Yin Wing. 由音乐事工部主办华语崇拜协办的四幕歌剧『以斯帖』将于10月14日（周六）晚上7时正在大堂演出。故事取自圣经《以斯帖记》，以犹太女子以斯帖为中心，她凭着勇敢、智慧和对神的信心，救了本国人民脱离仇敌的杀戮。主要角色有女高音郭灵音老师及男高音黄腾卫牧师，由甄炎荣作曲。请弟兄姐妹预留时间并邀请亲戚朋友出席。
